The Sunday Herald - May 5, 1895 Miss Edna Mae Pettie, whose likeness is reproduced this week, is studying vocal music at the National Conservatory of Music in New York and it is said that she has been highly encouraged by the faculty of that excellent institution. Miss Pettie, undoubtedly has vocal gifts of a superior sort and with the excellent training she will receive by a thorough course under the masters of New York, her friends may one day be very proud of her. Miss Pettie is still in her teens. |
