George A. Schiller

George A. Schiller was a stage actor who starred in the original 1897 musical comedy "The Belle of New York" with Edna May.
He played the role of "Kenneth Mugg".

The following images are courtesy of Chris Donner.
George Schiller was his step-grandfather.
Over the years, the cloth was signed by over 100 actors/actresses of their day, collected by Schiller and then each signature was embroidered over by Chris' grandmother, Pauline Tolbolt Donner, a skilled seamstress.

The cloth is an amazing piece of acting history.
It was signed by Edna May, the cast of The Belle of New York, Billie Burke, John Drew, Ellen Terry, Sarah Churchill,
Grace Kelly, Jack Haley, and many more during the lifetime of George A. Schiller.
